Matt is a water resource specialist well versed in erosion and hydrology studies; managing large datasets, including analysis and quality control of weather and streamflow data; building and maintaining hydrologic field equipment; measuring stream discharge; and analyzing soil and water samples. He is proficient in a wide range of software and advanced use of well-known hydrologic models. He brings field-to-formula understanding supporting modeling, creative solution development, and communication of complex hydrological findings and management strategies.

Play

In his off hours, Matt loves backpacking, trail running, fly fishing, or any other excuse he can find to explore new areas outdoors. He and his girlfriend try to go to bed early so they can wake up and go to yoga, or read with a cup of coffee. Matt has recently been learning to draw, though with very little success.
