Mike is a construction inspector with nearly two decades of experience in light and heavy rail operations and construction, overseeing track construction, maintenance, and on-track safety. He has a deep appreciation and interest in rail transportation and its role in greener transportation solutions. Mike has served in field and office positions, as construction manager, project manager, resident engineer, and construction quality inspector for passenger and freight transport organizations and their design teams—including Sound Transit and Union Pacific Railroad. He is a collaborative team leader with valuable industry insights.

Mike enjoys the spectacular flora and fauna of Washington State. When not exploring the state’s trail systems, Puget Sound, or the Peninsula, he can be found championing environmental stewardship and volunteering within his community.
