City of Olympia On-Call Various Bridge Load Ratings

City of Olympia, Washington

Exeltech provided on-call bridge inspection services and structural load rating design and checking calculations in accordance with the AASHTO Specifications and WSDOT Bridge Design Manual, using WSDOT BRIDG software. All WSDOT and NBIS reports were completed and filed as required by standard procedures.

  • Priest Point Park Bridge: Load rating of the 143-foot-long three-span post-tensioned slab bridge, which involved work with the City’s Parks Department.

  • Percival Creek Bridge: Load rating of the 485-foot-long four-span prestressed I-girder bridge.

  • 5th Avenue Bridge: Load rating of the 142-foot-long four-span concrete slab bridge.

  • RW Johnson Road Culvert: Load rating of the 28-foot-span steel culvert.

  • Olympia-Yashiro Bridge: Load rating of the 749-foot-long six-span CIP post-tensioned box girder bridge, precast panels, and CIP panel. The deck and hinge will be load rated.

  • West Olympia-Yashiro Bridge: Load rating of the 140-foot-long three-span CIP post-tensioned box girder bridge, and pre-cast panel. The deck, Precast Panels, Box girder was load rated.

  • Woodland Trail Boulevard Road Bridge: Load rating of the 200-foot-long three-span prestressed I-girder bridge.
