Exeltech has opened a new branch office in downtown Missoula, Montana, to serve clients in Montana, Idaho, and eastern Washington. Michelle Rhodes, Director of Finance and Administration, will oversee the firm’s Missoula office operations. Rhodes has 25 years of experience in the architecture and engineering industry. She relocated to Missoula from Exeltech’s corporate office in Lacey, Washington, in March 2021. “I have visited this area many times and love the Montana wilderness and mountains. My family likes to fish the rivers, and I like hiking and white-water rafting. It is such a beautiful place,” Rhodes said.
Santosh J. Kuruvilla, Exeltech President and Chief Executive Officer, added “It makes sense for Exeltech to be in Missoula, close to Inland Northwest clients’ projects.” Prior to acquiring Exeltech Consulting in 1989, Kuruvilla was a bridge engineer (and later Vice President) with global design firm HDR, Inc. for 10 years, and managed rail, roadway, bridge, and tunnel engineering projects throughout Montana. Over the past 30 years, Exeltech has helped clients to deliver projects ranging from interstate bridges and rails-to-trails networks to industrial and commercial site development and urban revitalization.
Exeltech specializes in structural engineering for bridges, buildings, and facilities; civil engineering for transportation and stormwater; environmental planning and permitting; landscape architecture; and construction administration, management, and inspection services.
